RENO, Nev.- The Reno Bighorns, affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies and Atlanta Hawks, have announced that Nick Fazekas will return to the team for the 2011-2012 season.

Last year’s number one overall pick in the NBA D-League Draft, Fazekas started the first 12 games of the season, averaging 14 points and 7 rebounds. He left the team midway through the season due to injuries. A former University of Nevada standout, Fazekas was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in 2007.

The Bighorns tip off their regular season on the road on Friday, Nov. 25, when the team visits the Bakersfield Jam, affiliate of the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors. The team will return to Reno to host its first home game of the season against the Jam at the Reno Events Center on Friday, Dec. 2.
