DARNELL JACKSON RETURNS TO RENO

The Reno Bighorns have acquired center Darnell Jackson, the team announced today.

Jackson (6-9, 253), who started the season with Reno, has played 11 games for the Bighorns this year. He averaged 15.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Jackson had been playing overseas in China.

“We welcome Darnell back to Reno and the Bighorns family,” said Bighorns owner, Herb Santos, Jr. “Darnell brings a big presence to the game and I feel confident that he will help up complete the season on a positive note.”

The Kansas product was in training camp with the Utah Jazz at the start of the NBA season.

To make room on the roster for Jackson, the Bighorns waived Garrett Green.
