RENO, Nev.— Bruno the Bighorn—beloved mascot of the Reno Bighorns—has survived his rooftop rally at the Atlantis, which raised more than $1,500 for the Autism Coalition of Nevada.
During his 10-day stint atop the parking garage at the Atlantis, Bruno saw over nine inches of snowfall, experienced wind gusts of more than 50 miles per hour and survived one broken tent.
Bruno and the Bighorns raised a total of $1,555 during his 10 days on the roof, and Bruno has extended this special offer for one final day. Fifty percent of the proceeds for select game tickets bought before 5 p.m. today will still go to ACON.
The Bighorns are in action tonight in Utah at 6 p.m. PT, and will return home Sunday at 3 p.m. against the Utah Flash. Fans can purchase tickets for the game by calling (775) 284-2622 or visiting ticketmaster.com or the Silver Legacy box office.
