Bighorns Look for In-Game Host for the 2012-13 Season

The Reno Bighorns are searching for an In-Game Host for the 2012-13 season. The position serves as the voice and face of the Bighorns in-game entertainment during all home games. The In-Game Host will work closely with Bighorns game day staff and the Director of Marketing and Game Operations to create a fun and memorable experience for fans.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for emceeing all game activities including pre-game activities, promotions during timeouts and breaks, and post-game events. The In-Game Host must effectively communicate corporate messaging while also interactively engaging and entertaining fans. This position will also assist in creating and executing in-arena promotions and contests.

Requirements:

•Live on-air stadium/arena , television, radio or stage performance experience
•Strong vocal talent, excellent enunciation skills
•Strong public speaking skills and ability to speak extemporaneously to large crowds
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Strong knowledge of NBA basketball
•Good memorization skills and ability to perform with little or no preparation
•Must be available for all 26 homes games (includes Showcase games) and all pre-season and post-season games. Schedule includes nights, weekends, holidays, non-traditional hours
•Interest in participating in and supporting Bighorns community efforts
