BIGHORNS TO HOST MILITARY NIGHT

BIGHORNS RETURN TO ACTION THIS WEEKEND WITH MILITARY AND VETERAN RECOGNITION NIGHT

After a month on the road, the Reno Bighorns return home this weekend with games on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Friday night’s game against the Los Angeles D-Fenders is Military and Veteran Recognition Night. Any active duty or retired military member will receive 50% off their ticket when they show their military I.D. at the Reno Events Center Box Office. The game tips off at 7 p.m.

The Bighorns will also being wearing special camouflage jerseys, a first for the team. Fans will be able to bid on the jerseys via silent auction throughout the game. All the proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to the Veteran’s Guest House.

"Our military personnel sacrifice more than we can ever imagine to ensure that our great nation stays free,” said Bighorns owner, Herb Santos, Jr. "I hope our community will come out and join us as we show our appreciation for our local military heroes and their families and tell them thank you for keeping us safe and preserving freedom for us and our families."

The Bighorns will also be in action on Sunday, February 10 with Superhero Day as they take on the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 3 p.m. The first 1500 fans to the game will receive a Bruno Superhero Bobblehead. Anyone who dresses up as a superhero will receive $2 off their ticket at the Reno Events Center Box Office. Sunday is also Kids Court Time, all kids are invited to stay after the game and shoot hoops on the court with Bighorns players.
