The NBA Development League Pre-Draft Camp offers athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of League front office personnel, as well as coaches & representatives from every NBA D-League team. Participants will be competing for the opportunity to sign an NBA D-League standard player contract and to be placed in the 2008 NBA Development League Draft, to be held in November of 2008.

Game Rules

NBA game rules will be used for officiating and instruction at the NBA Development League Pre-Draft Camp.

Dates and Location

The NBA Development League Pre-Draft Camp will be held from June 27-29 at The Suwanee Sports Academy located in Suwanee, GA. Located 40 minutes north of the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International airport, Suwanee and the surrounding vicinity, will serve as camp headquarters for the camp. Arrival and check-in will be Friday June 27, with the official kick-off being an opening meeting at 7pm. All participants should be prepared to commit themselves from Friday's opening meeting to the conclusion of game play on Sunday afternoon.

Eligibility

Participants must be a minimum 18 years of age. The camp roster is limited to 200 players, therefore applicants are advised to submit completed applications by June 2.

Costs

Applications must be accompanied by your $500 participation fee. Selected participants will be provided lodging for two nights at the camp hotel headquarters, transportation between the hotel and gym for the games, and a uniform.

Application Process

To apply for the camp, please download and complete the application form, as well as the player release & eligibility form and return it with $500 money order (made payable to NBA Development League, LLC) via traceable carrier (eg., FedEx, UPS, DHL) to Brandon Barnett at NBA Development League, 477 Madison Ave, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10022 by June 2. Only timely applications will be considered. You will be informed by June 6 whether or not you have been selected to participate. If you are not selected your $500 application fee will be refunded. No refunds will be permitted otherwise.
