BACKGROUND

Pro Career Highlights: Participated in NBA training camp with the Los Angeles Clippers in the fall of 2005. Split the 2004-05 season in the NBA and ABA. Started the season with the Phoenix Suns in the NBA, appearing in four games and scoring a total of seven points (all in one game vs. the Atlanta Hawks) and dishing out three assists. After being released, joined the Long Beach Jam in the ABA, averaging 8.8 points and 7.1 assists in 14 games. Also played with the Jam during the 2003-04 season, averaging 5.3 points and 6.3 assists in 18 games. Helped lead Long Beach to the ABA title. Participated in NBA training camp with the Denver Nuggets in the fall of 2003. Played in his native Japan with Toyota Alvark during the 2002-03 season.

College Highlights: Played one season at BYU-Hawaii, averaging 7.6 points and 6.6 assists. Led the Pacific West Conference in assists. Started all 28 games at point guard. Scored in double figures eight times, with a career-high 16 points vs. Chaminade. Dished out career-high 13 assists vs. New Mexico State. Recorded a double-double of 12 points and 12 assists at Chaminade. Scored 13 points and distributed six assists and scored the game-winning points in an upset victory over Columbia. Tallied nine points vs. Tulsa.
