Played for KK Pivovarna Lasko in Slovenia in 2001-02, averaging 16.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 23 games. Played with the Kansas Cagerz in the USBL in 2001, averaging 10.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in 13 games. Participated in the NBA Chicago Pre-Draft Camp at Moody Bible Institute in 2001.
Finished collegiate career tied for fifth on the all-time scoring list at New Orleans with 1358 points. Is the only UNO player to make 100 or more three-pointers and block 100 or more shots. Finished as the all-time leader in three-point field goals made and third all-time in steals. Four-year starter who started 90 of 109 total games.
As a senior, averaged 17.0 points and 4.7 rebounds. Started 26 of 29 games. Led team in scoring and blocked shots. Paced team in scoring in 21 games. Scored career-high 30 points and sank seven three-point shots against North Texas on Feb. 14. Matched that effort in the next contest with 30 points at South Alabama (Feb. 17). Notched only double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds at New Mexico State on Jan. 13. Voted MVP of the Nokia Sugar Bowl Classic after scoring 19 points against Tulane in the Superdome on Dec. 22. Was elected Sun Belt Freshman of the Year.
