Has played professionally in Argentina, Australia, Chile, the Phillippines, and Spain. Played briefly with Provincial Llanquihue in Chile during the 2000-01 season, averaging 17.2 points and 12.7 rebounds in six games before finishing the season with El Club Baloncesto Alcala in the Spanish LEB2 League. Split the 1999-00 season with two teams in the Spanish LEB League, starting with Circulo de Badajoz and finishing with Menorca Basquet, where he averaged 8.6 points and 8.6 rebounds in 12 games. Played 1998-99 season in Australia with the Brisbane Bullets. Spent 1997-98 season in the United States with the Black Hills Gold of the IBA, averaging 10.0 poins and 9.1 rebounds while starting 27 of 29 games. Participated in the 1997 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.
Finished collegiate career at College of Charleston as the fourth all-time leading scorer (1564 points) and second all-time leading rebounder (1119 rebounds) in school history. Set the all-time TAAC career record in rebounds. College of Charleston had a 101-17 overall record during his four-year career, including four TAAC championships, two NIT and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Had 51 career double-doubles. Earned First Team All-TAAC honors his last three seasons.
As a senior, averaged 15.8 points and 9.5 rebounds. Also led conference with 64 blocked shots. Was named TAAC Player of the Week three times and earned TAAC All-Tournament honors. Notched 15 double-doubles. Scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Arizona in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
As a junior, averaged 14.6 points and 11.4 rebounds. Ranked seventh in the nation in rebounding. Recorded 16 double-doubles. Grabbed career-high 21 rebounds against Charleston Southern. Also snared 20 rebounds against Campbell.
As a sophomore, averaged 13.0 points and 10.4 rebounds. Led TAAC in rebounding and finished third in the league in blocks. Had 13 double-doubles, and registered 10 or more rebounds in 14 games. Scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Wake Forest.
As a freshman, averaged 10.2 points and 7.3 rebounds. Led the league in field goal percentage and was second in blocks. Registered seven double-doubles. Blocked season-high six shots against Samford. Was named to the TAAC All-Newcomer Team and earned Second Team All-TAAC honors.
