BACKGROUND

In 2000-01 played 15 games for SG Braunschweig in the German Bundesliga I League. Averaged 18.5 ppg, 7.0 apg and 3.5 rpg. Played in 1999-00 for BCM Gravelines in France, averaging 18.9 ppg and 5.6 apg.

Finished collegiate career as Clemson’s all-time leader in three-point field goals (259), steals (194), minutes played (4,200) and three-point field goal attempts (696). Ranked second in school history in scoring (1,839), games started (112), assists (577) and free throws made (396). Trails only NBA star Elden Campbell (1,880 points) in all-time Clemson scoring. Earned All-ACC honors three times, just the fifth player in school history to accomplish that feat. One of 13 players in ACC history to record 1,800 points and 500 assists.

As a senior, led the ACC in scoring with 17.9 ppg. Ranked second in the ACC in three-point field goals per game (2.8), fourth in three-point field goal percentage (.402) and assists (5.4) and eighth in free throw percentage (.793) and steals (1.6). Named to the NIT All-Tournament team after leading the Tigers to the NIT championship game. Set Clemson record in a single-season for three-point field goals (99), minutes played (1,250), double-figure scoring games (32), three-point field goal attempts (246) and tied records for games started and games played (both 35). Had 19 games in which he led team in scoring and assists.

As a junior, ranked in the top 10 in the ACC in four different categories including free throw shooting (7th, .779), assists (3rd, 5.3 apg), three-point field goals, and assist-to-turnover ratio (4th, 2.26:1). Averaged 15 ppg and 6.5 apg in the ACC Tournament. Scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished nine assists vs. Maryland. Scored season-high 28 points vs. Duke. Scored 18 points and dished out 10 assists vs. NC State. Missed three games with a bruised foot.

As a sophomore, started every game and led team in assists (145), steals (42) and three-point field goals (61). Earned second-team All-ACC honors. Had a 2.2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio, seventh best in school history. Scored 15 points or more on 14 occasions including season-high 24-point effort vs. North Carolina. Dished out season-high nine assists in a game twice.

As a freshman, was named Clemson's Co-MVP along with Greg Buckner. Led the team in free throw shooting (.792) and assists (90). Was second on team in scoring at 12.7 ppg. Was a First Team, All-ACC Rookie selection and an honorable mention All-American freshman team member. Averaged 15.3 ppg during the postseason.
