BACKGROUND

Pro Career Highlights:
Participated in training camp with the New York Knicks in the fall of 2005. Participated in training camp with the Boston Celtics in the fall of 2004.

College Highlights: Earned Second Team All-Southland Conference honors his junior and senior seasons. Finished his UTA career as the program's fifth all-time leading scorer with 1229 points. Finished second all-time in career three-point field goals made with 163. Played final three seasons of collegiate career at Texas-Arlington, after playing his first year at South Plains College in Levelland, TX.

Senior (2001-02): Averaged 18.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. Started all 27 games. Finished second in the conference in scoring, second in free throw percentage (.862), and 11th in assists. Set career-high of 43 points on 13-for-22 shooting, including 5-for-7 from three-point range, in a 95-91 win over Texas-San Antonio. Also hit for 38 points in only 29 minutes at Wichita State. Hit the 30 point mark on two other occasions, and led team in scoring in 14 games overall. Buried a three-pointer with 1.2 seconds left to lead UTA to a 61-60 win at Bradley. Was named SLC Player of the Week twice.

Junior (2000-01): Averaged 16.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. Started 26 of 28 games. Finished seventh in the conference in scoring and fifth in free throw percentage (.794). Scored in double figures 21 times, leading UTA in scoring in 15 games. Scored season-high 30 points against McNeese State, and again at Sam Houston State in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament. Recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 assists at Sam Houston State. Hit game-winning shot in 63-61 win over Stephen F. Austin.

Sophomore (1999-00): Averaged 10.0 points in 16 minutes a game. Came off the bench in all 27 games played. Finished third on the team with 45 three-pointers made and was fourth on the team in scoring. Netted season-high 32 points in only 23 minutes at Louisiana-Monroe. Reached double figures in scoring 14 times, leading the team in scoring in three games. Hit at least one three-pointer in 19 games.

Freshman (1998-99): At South Plains College, averaged 9.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. Scored a season-high 19 points against Neosho County CC and Odessa JC. Had nine assists against LCU JV.

Personal: Majored in business management. Enjoys listening to music and playing video games.
