BACKGROUND

Career Highlights: Finished collegiate career as the all-time leading shot-blocker in school history with 144 blocked shots, which also ranks tenth all-time in WCC history. Earned WCC First Team All-Conference honors as a senior and was also named the league's Defensive Player of the Year.

Senior (2003-04): Led team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 16.1 points (ranked fourth in the WCC), 5.9 rebounds, and a league-leading 1.97 blocked shots. Ranked second in the WCC in field goal percentage at .554. Started all 28 games. Posted career-highs of 30 points and 15 rebounds against Portland in the first round of the WCC tournament. Recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds at Santa Clara. Scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds at Denver. Registered 21 points and seven rebounds against Virginia. Tallied 24 points on 11-for-15 shooting against San Diego.

Junior (2002-03): Averaged 9.0 points, a team-leading 4.5 rebounds and 1.93 blocked shots. Led WCC in blocked shots while setting a single-season school record for blocks with 60. Started 20 of 31 games. Scored season-high 18 points while posting five blocked shots against Santa Clara. Led team with 17 points, nine rebounds, and six blocked shots against San Diego. Paced squad with 14 points at Pepperdine. Scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a win over Gonzaga.

Sophomore (2001-02): Averaged 3.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and a team-leading 0.85 blocked shots in 9.3 minutes a contest. Came off the bench in all 27 games. Posted season-high 14 points against Occidental. Scored ten points on 5-for-6 shooting against Long Beach State.

Freshman (2000-01): Averaged 1.6 points and 1.7 rebounds in 7.7 minutes a contest. Grabbed season-high seven rebounds and three steals against St. Mary's. Tallied five points and two rebounds in 19 minutes against Santa Clara in the first round of the WCC Tournament.

Personal: Majored in business. Father, Sherman, Sr., played tennis at UCLA and mother, Loretta, is also a LMU graduate.
