Career Highlights: Started the 2004-05 season with the Arkansas RimRockers
of the ABA, averaging 11.3 points and 8.1 rebounds. Led the White Division in
field goal percentage (.699) while ranking second in rebounding. Helped lead the
team to the ABA championship. Moved on to the Rome Gladiators of the WBA, averaging
9.5 points and 6.9 rebounds. Helped lead the team to the WBA championship.
College
Highlights: Finished collegiate career at North Texas after playing first
two seasons at Lee College in Baytown, Texas and spending 1 ½ years at
LSU. Sat out the 2001-02 season at LSU as a redshirt. In his only year at North
Texas, set a single-season record for blocks (69) which also ranks third all-time
on the career list.
Senior (2003-04): Averaged 11.2 points and
a team-leading 8.4 rebounds. Became eligible to play at the end of the fall semester
in 2004, and started 21 of 23 games. Posted four double-doubles, including back-to-back
efforts at Texas-Pan American (20 points, 13 rebounds) and St. Bonaventure (20
points, 11 rebounds). Against New Orleans in the Sun Belt Tournament, grabbed
a career-high 21 rebounds and blocked a career-high eight shots, tying a school
record and setting a new Sun Belt Tournament mark.
Junior (2002-03):
Averaged 5.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.3 blocked shots in three games before
deciding to leave the team. Led the team with ten points and 13 rebounds in the
season opener vs. Nicholls State.
Sophomore (2000-01): At Lee College,
averaged 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.6 blocked shots. Led the team in blocks
and ranked second in rebounding. Earned honorable mention All-Conference honors.
Freshman
(1999-00): Averaged 12.9 points and 6.7 rebounds. Ranked second on the team
in field goal percentage (.489).
