BACKGROUND
Pro Career Highlights: Played in China during the 2004-05 season with the Jiangsu Dragons, averaging 17.8 points and 6.4 rebounds in 52 games. Shot .578 from the field and .407 from the three-point arc, while helping the Dragons reach the league championship series. Played briefly for Guaiqueries de Margarita in Venezuela in 2003-04, averaging 22.8 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting .568 from beyond three-point range in six games. Also played briefly for Juarez in Mexico. Spent the fall of 2003 playing with an EA Sports All-Star that played exhibition games against NCAA opponents.
College Highlights: Finished collegiate career
as the fourth all-time leading three-point shooter in Cal history (.407). Earned
the team's Top Defensive Player honor his junior and senior seasons. Started career
at Cal as a walk-on before earning a scholarship prior to the start of his junior
season.
Senior (2001-02): Averaged 7.8 points and 2.5 rebounds
in 22.9 minutes a contest. Started twice. Scored in double figures 13 times. Sank
six three-point field goals and tied a career-high with 20 points vs. UCLA in
the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament. Led team with 19 points vs. Stanford.
Tallied 14 points and six rebounds at South Florida. Scored 12 points and grabbed
a season-high nine rebounds at Washington. Registered ten points vs. Pennsylvania
in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Junior (2000-01): Averaged
7.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 26.2 minutes a contest. Ranked seventh in the Pac-10
in three-point field goal shooting (.418) and tenth in steals (1.22 spg). Started
21 of 31 games. Scored season-high 18 points vs. Arizona State. Sank 5-for-6 three-point
field goals on his way to 17 points vs. Yale. Shot 6-for-9 from the field, including
4-for-6 from beyond three-point range, in scoring 16 points at Arizona. Tallied
16 points vs. Albany.
Sophomore (1999-00): Averaged 3.8 points
and 2.5 rebounds in 15.3 minutes a contest. Led the team in three-point shooting
(.453), the third-best single season percentage in school history. Became a starter
at mid-season and got the nod in 11 games. Registered season-high 20 points on
7-for-9 shooting (6-for-8 from three-point range) and grabbed seven rebounds at
Arizona. Led team with 17 points at Oregon State.
Freshman (1998-99):
Averaged 1.1 points and 0.5 rebounds in 1.9 minutes a contest. Appeared in
ten games.
