BACKGROUND

Participated in training camp with the San Antonio Spurs in 2004. Played for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA from 2001-02 to 2003-04. Appeared in a total of 44 games in three seasons, scoring a total of 43 points, grabbing 57 rebounds, and blocking 16 shots. Played the most as a rookie in 2001-02, averaging 1.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.5 blocked shots in 33 games with one start.

College Highlights: Finished career as the fourth all-time leading shot blocker in Georgetown history with 255, ranking behind Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and Dikembe Mutombo. Also ranks tenth in total rebounds (71) and 15th in rebounding average (7.0 rpg). Earned Third Team All-Big East honors as a junior. Finished in the top 35 in the nation in blocked shots his final three seasons.

Senior (2000-01): Averaged 9.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and a team-leading 2.4 blocked shots. Started all 31 games. Led team in scoring five times and in rebounding 16 times. Recorded 28 points and ten rebounds against Bethune-Cookman. Tallied 19 points and seven rebounds against Morgan State. Posted 15 points and eight rebounds against Rutgers. Scored eight points, grabbed nine rebounds, and blocked three shots against Hampton in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Junior (1999-00): Averaged 12.8 points, a team-high 7.7 rebounds, and 2.5 blocked shots. Posted seven double-doubles. Scored career-high 32 points against Southern. Grabbed career-high 15 rebounds against James Madison. Tied a career-high with seven blocked shots against Villanova.

Sophomore (1998-99): Averaged 8.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.9 blocked shots (ranked 13th nationally). Started all 31 games. Recorded five double-doubles. Tallied ten points, 13 rebounds, and six blocks against Providence. Grabbed career-high four steals against Notre Dame.

Freshman (1997-98): Averaged 2.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. Only played in six games and 80 minutes due to a left wrist injury. Blocked a total of ten shots.

Personal: Earned bachelor's degree in math and served as President of Georgetown's Math Club.
