BACKGROUND

Finished his collegiate career ranked eighth on LSU’s all-time scoring list with 1726 points and sixth all-time in rebounding with 907 boards. Is one of only four players – joining Shaquille O’Neal, Bob Pettit, and Durand Macklin – to finish in the top 10 in both scoring and rebounding at LSU. Named Second Team All-SEC three straight seasons. Recorded 33 career double-doubles.

As a senior, averaged 15.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Started all 32 games. Led team in scoring and ranked second in rebounding and assists. Ranked third in the SEC in field goal percentage, fourth in rebounding, and seventh in scoring. Set season highs with 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Arkansas. Tallied 22 points and nine rebounds at Alabama. Led team with 24 points in the SEC Tournament against Florida. Chosen to the SEC All-Tournament Team. Earned First Team NABC District 8 and USBWA District VII honors.

As a junior, averaged 16.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. Started all 34 games. Led team in scoring and rebounding, ranking second in the SEC in rebounding and seventh in scoring. Posted career-high 30 points and added nine rebounds against Arkansas. Scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Kentucky. Recorded 29 points against Louisiana-Lafayette. Grabbed career-high 16 rebounds twice, against Nicholls State and Campbell. Registered a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds against Alabama.

As a sophomore, averaged 17.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Started 28 of 29 games. Led SEC in scoring and ranked second in rebounding. Registered 14 double-doubles. Posted season-high 23 points twice, against Tennessee and against Texas Southern. Tallied 20 points and 12 rebounds against Oregon State. Scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Alabama.

As a freshman, averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 12.7 minutes a contest. Started 10 times. Scored season-high 21 points against Grambling State. Grabbed career-high 16 rebounds and scored 14 points against Arkansas.
