BACKGROUND
Career Highlights: Named an NCAA Division II All-American by NABC. Finished
collegiate career at Bryant College in North Carolina after spending first four
years at Providence. Granted an injury redshirt for the 2002-03 season. Helped
lead Bryant to a school record 23 wins and an appearance in the NCAA Division
II Regional Championship game for the first time in school history. Was a member
of the Canadian National Basketball Team at the World University Games and Goodwill
Games in 2001.
Senior (2003-04): Averaged a team-leading 18.6 points (fourth in the
Northeast-10) and 5.7 rebounds. Started all 33 games. Ranked second in the Northeast-10
Conference and 11th nationally in free throw shooting (88.5 percent). Set a
school single-season record for three-point field goals with 87. Exploded for
career-high 35 points against Southern New Hampshire. Tallied 31 points and
eight rebounds against St. Anselm. Posted only double-double of the season with
22 points and ten rebounds in the season opener at Southampton. Sank 6-for-13
from behind three-point range in scoring 21 points against Pace. Earned First
Team All-Conference honors.
Redshirt Junior (2002-03): Averaged 6.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 21.3
minutes a contest. Started 16 of 23 games. Scored season-high 21 points and
grabbed ten rebounds against Northeastern for first career double-double. Recorded
15 points including 5-for-9 three-point shooting at Miami (FL).
Junior (2001-02): Averaged 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 17.4 minutes
a contest. Played in five games, starting four before sitting out the rest of
the season due to a sore hip. Scored season-high eight points twice, against
Brown and against Rhode Island.
Sophomore (2000-01): Averaged 9.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 26.9 minutes
a contest. Started 29 of 31 games. Scored season-high 22 points against Connecticut.
Led team with 20 points against Miami (FL). Hit a season-high five three-pointers
and dished out season-high five assists against Villanova.
Freshman (1999-00): Averaged 6.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.8 minutes
a contest. Started 23 of 30 games. Posted season-high 21 points against West
Virginia. Grabbed season-high seven rebounds twice, at Rutgers and against Seton
Hall in the Big East Tournament.
