BACKROUND

Pro Career Highlights: Played with the Huntsville Flight in the NBA Development League in 2004-05, averaging 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 27 games. Selected by Huntsville in the 6th round (#34 pick overall) of the 2004 NBA D-League Draft. An early entry candidate for the 2004 NBA Draft, but was not selected.

College Highlights: Played the past two seasons at Georgia Perimeter College in Decatur, GA after spending his first year out of high school (the 2001-02 season) as a redshirt at Western Kentucky.

Sophomore (2003-04): Averaged 12.2 points and 8.2 rebounds. Led team in blocked shots, ranked second in rebounding, and ranked fourth in scoring. Ranked amongst the league leaders in free throw and three-point shooting percentage. Tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds against Brunswick (GA) in the Gulf Coast Community College Tip-Off Classic. Recorded 14 points, ten rebounds, and seven blocked shots against Atlanta Metropolitan College. Scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds against Middle Georgia. Scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the opening round of the NJCAA Tournament against Yavapai (AZ). Posted 13 points in the quarterfinals against Southeastern Illinois College. Named All-Region. Team finished with a 29-5 record.

Freshman (2002-03): Averaged 11.4 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting .671 from the field. Ranked second on the team with 54 blocked shots. Tallied 17 points and nine rebounds against Coastal Georgia. Led team with 18 points and nine rebounds against Truett-McConnell (GA). Shared team lead with 14 points against Shelton State in the NJCAA District X title game. Registered 23 points, including five three-pointers, in a NJCAA tournament quarterfinal win over Okaloosa-Walton (FL) CC. Helped team finish with a 32-6 record and a fourth place finish in the NJCAA national tournament.
