BACKGROUND

Has participated in NBA training camps with the Orlando Magic (2002), Los Angeles Lakers (2001), and New Jersey Nets (1999). Played in the 2002 Rocky Mountain Revue with the Denver Nuggets. Played 2001-02 season in Yugoslavia with Partizan Belgrade and in the ABA with the Las Vegas Slam. Spent 2000-01 season in the ABA with the Memphis Houn’Dawgs and San Diego Wildfire, averaging 4.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 38 total games. Appeared in the USBL in the summer of 1999 with the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs. Played with the Magic City Snowbears of the IBA in 1998-99, averaging 8.6 points and 6.8 rebounds.

Early entry candidate for the 1998 NBA Draft. Played two seasons at Loyola Marymount. Started college career at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA where he redshirted the 1994-95 season. Transferred to Loyola Marymount and sat out the 1995-96 season under NCAA transfer rules.

As a junior, averaged 8.0 points and 5.3 rebounds. Started 19 of 26 games. Recorded two double-doubles on the season, including a 14 point, 11 rebound performance in the season opener at UNLV on Nov. 15. Scored 12 points and grabbed career-high 13 rebounds at San Diego on Feb. 7. Had career-high 20 points on 7-for-7 field goal shooting to go with seven rebounds and three blocked shots against St. Mary’s (CA) on Jan. 31. Registered 19 points on 9-for-10 shooting against Santa Clara on Feb. 13. Recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots against USC on Nov. 21.

As a sophomore, averaged 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 16.8 minutes a game. Came off the bench in all 28 games. Led the team in field goal percentage (.558) and blocked shots (23). Scored in double figures four times, with a season high of 19 points on 8-for-9 shooting against Providence on Dec. 28. Tallied 13 points and eight rebounds against Xavier on Dec. 5. Grabbed season-high 10 rebounds at Pepperdine on Jan. 18. Had 10 points and four blocked shots at USC on Dec. 2. Scored 12 points in 17 minutes in collegiate debut against Seattle on Nov. 23.
