BACKGROUND

Played final two seasons of collegiate career at South Carolina State after starting career at Houston and routing through Texas Tech. Sat out the 2000-01 season under NCAA regulations for transfer students.

As a senior, averaged 16.0 points and 3.7 rebounds. Led team in scoring. Scored in double figures in 26 games, with a career-high 32 points against Norfolk State. Recorded 26 points on 9-for-14 shooting against Bethune-Cookman. Shot 10-for-10 from the free throw line while scoring 26 points against Howard. Tallied 22 points and five steals at Jacksonville. Scored 12 points and grabbed season-high nine rebounds against Delaware State. Sank 5-for-7 from behind three-point range and 8-for-12 overall in scoring 22 points at The Citadel. Registered 13 points and six rebounds in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Oklahoma.
