Played with the North Charleston Lowgators, Roanoke Dazzle and Mobile Revelers in the NBDL in 2002-03. Played in 24 games with North Charleston, seven games with Roanoke, and one game with Mobile. Averaged 5.8 points and 2.2 assists in 32 total games. Participated in training camp with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2002.
Played final two seasons of collegiate career at Kansas State, after starting career at Northern Oklahoma Junior College in Tonkawa, OK. Finished tenth on Kansas State’s all-time steals list with 75. Started all 57 games he played at KSU.
As a senior, averaged 14.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. Started 28 games. Led team in scoring and assists. Scored over 20 points five times, including a season-high 27 points against Kansas on Feb. 4. Tallied 22 points against Mississippi on Nov. 24. Dished out career-high 11 assists against Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 29. Scored 21 points and dished out six assists against Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament on Mar. 7. Earned the team’s Outstanding Offensive Player Award and was named to the Big 12 All-Underrated Squad. Named Second Team All-Big 12 by the Coaches.
As a junior, averaged 11.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. Started all 29 games, the only K-State player to do so. Led team in assists and ranked second in scoring. Scored in double figures in 17 games, including 13 of the last 16. Recorded career-high 31 points on 10-for-15 shooting while dishing out eight assists against Iowa on Dec. 23. Shot 7-for-9 from three-point range on his way to 30 pints at Iowa State on Feb. 3. Dished out career-high eight assists against Texas Antonio in the season opener on Nov. 18. Registered first career double-double with 17 points and 12 rebound against Tennessee State on Nov. 28. Was voted to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and also earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors.
As a sophomore at Northern Oklahoma JC, averaged 17.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.1 assists. Led team in scoring. Helped lead team to the Region II Championship and a berth in the NJCAA Tournament. Earned MVP honors of the Region II Tournament. Was named All-Bi-West Conference, All-State, and All-Region. Also earned 2nd Team NJCAA All-American honors.
As a freshman, averaged 13.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. Started at point guard. Led team in assists and finished second in scoring.
