BACKGROUND

Finished collegiate career sixth on Kent State’s all-time leading scoring list with 1337 points. Also finished in the school’s all-time top ten in rebounds (ninth), blocked shots (third), and steals (seventh). A four-year starter who started a school-record 111 times of 116 career games played.

As a senior, averaged 12.7 points and 4.6 rebounds. Started all 34 games. Ranked second on the team in scoring and rebounding. Scored in double figures 25 times, surpassing the 20 point mark in four contests. Scored career-high 28 points on 13-for-18 field goal shooting against Northern Illinois on Jan. 10. Tallied 24 points at Eastern Michigan on Jan. 24. Reached the 1000 point mark at Wisconsin-Green Bay on Dec. 9 with a 26 point effort on 11-for-14 shooting, including 4-for-5 from three-point range. Grabbed season-high 10 rebounds at Marshall on Feb. 11. Selected to the All-MAC Second Team.

As a junior, averaged 10.3 points and 4.7 rebounds. Started 27 of 29 games. Ranked third on the team in scoring and second in rebounding. Scored in double figures 12 times, with a season high of 20 points against Youngstown State Dec. 4. Recorded 19 points and seven rebounds against Murray State in the first round of the SunClassic on Dec. 28. Pulled down season-high 11 rebounds against UTEP in the SunClassic championship game on Dec. 29. Scored team-high 17 points in second round NIT victory at Villanova on Mar. 20.

As a sophomore, averaged 11.0 points and 5.6 rebounds. Started 29 of 30 games. Ranked second on the team in scoring and rebounding. Led team in scoring in eight games. Scored season-high of 23 points against Akron on Feb. 13. Recorded two double-doubles, including a 20 point and career-high 16 rebound effort against Ball State on Jan. 23. Helped lead Kent State to their first-ever NCAA Tournament bid by averaging 12.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in the MAC Tournament. Was named to the All-Tournament Team.

As a freshman, averaged 12.0 points and 3.8 rebounds. Started 21 of 23 games, missing several due to a stress fracture in his right foot. Was the conference’s leading freshman scorer, and hit double-figure points in 14 games. Led team in scoring nine times. Scored season high 26 against Marshall on Dec. 20. Set season-highs with seven assists and seven steals against Loyola (MD) on Nov. 29. Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
