BACKGROUND

Has played internationally in Australia, Costa Rica, Iceland, Sweden, and Taiwan. Has also been a member of the Harlem Globetrotters. Averaged 24.9 points and 10.1 rebounds for UMFG Grindavik in Iceland in 2000-01. Was a member of the Panama National Team in 1999 and 2001.

Played final two seasons of collegiate career at Azusa Pacific, after starting career at Nevada and routing through UCLA. Sat out 1996-97 season at UCLA under NCAA transfer rules. A two-time All-GSAC honoree who helped lead Azusa Pacific to two conference championships, two NAIA Tournament appearances, and a NAIA Final Four in 1999. The Cougars were 56-12 during his two seasons.

As a senior, averaged 22.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. Started all 33 games. Set a school record with 98 three-point field goals made. Scored over 30 points five times, including a career-high 35 against Westmont on Jan. 11. Recorded 34 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, and four blocked shots against Christian Heritage on Jan. 28. Almost registered a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists against Hope International on Jan. 15. Scored 26 points and grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds against Pomona-Pitzer on Dec. 4. Notched 11 double-doubles on the season. Earned GSAC Player of the Year honors on his way to NAIA All-American status.

As a junior, averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Started all 32 games that he played. Led team in scoring and rebounding. Scored in double figures in all but two games, and led team with three double-double efforts. Recorded season-high of 33 points against Point Loma Nazarene on Feb. 13. Scored 28 points and grabbed nine boards against Southern California College on Jan. 12. Tallied 16 points against Christian Heritage in his APU debut on Nov. 12.

As a sophomore at UCLA, averaged 1.5 points and 0.8 rebounds in 3.8 minutes a game. Appeared in 11 contests. Scored season-high of six points against Cal State Fullerton on Dec. 13. Played season-high nine minutes and grabbed three rebounds against Alaska-Anchorage in the Great Alaska Shootout on Nov. 28. Scored four points in three minutes in the NCAA tournament against eventual national champion Kentucky on Mar. 20.

As a freshman at Nevada, averaged 1.8 points and 0.9 rebounds in 5.7 minutes a game.
