Pro Career Highlights: Participated in NBA training camp with the Orlando Magic in the fall of 2005. Played in the French ProA League in 2004-05 with Bourg-en-Bresse, averaging 11.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and a league-leading 2.1 blocked shots in 34 games. Spent the 2003-04 season in the NBA Development League with the Huntsville Flight, averaging 8.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.4 blocked shots in 40 games. Was the first overall player selected in the 2003 D-League Draft. Participated in NBA training camp with the Toronto Raptors in 2003. Played the 2002-03 season in the NBA with the Miami Heat, averaging 2.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.8 blocked shots in 9.8 minutes a contest. Appeared in 16 games. Finished the 2001-02 season in the CBA with the Dakota Wizards. Played in 37 games, averaging 7.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.9 blocked shots. Ranked second in the league in blocked shots and ranked seventh in field goal percentage. Made the CBA All-Rookie and All-Defensive Teams. Started 2001-02 season in Italy with Scandone Avellino, appearing in seven games, averaging 6.1 points and 2.9 rebounds. College Highlights: Finished four-year career as the fourth all-time leading shot blocker in NCAA history with 444, which also ranks as the best all-time in Big Ten and Ohio State history. Also holds the top three positions in Ohio State's record book for single-season blocked shots. Had 44 career games with five or more blocked shots. Named First Team All-Big Ten and NABC District 10 First Team after his senior season. Also earned Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press. As a senior, averaged 12.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.0 blocked shots. Ranked fourth in the nation in blocked shots. Scored career-high 28 points at Minnesota. As a junior, averaged 7.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.4 blocked shots. Led nation in blocked shots with the fifth highest single-season block total in NCAA history. Set school single-game record with a career-high 11 blocked shots at St. John's. As a sophomore, averaged 6.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.8 blocked shots. As a freshman, averaged 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.9 blocked shots. Sat out the 1996-97 season due to NCAA eligibility requirements.
