BACKGROUND

Finished collegiate career as the fifth all-time leading scorer in school history with 1803 points and the second all-time leading rebounder with 1088 rebounds. Also finished in the all-time top ten in blocks, field goals, field goal attempts, free throws made, and games played. His rebounding total also ranks fifth all-time in Mid-American Conference history. Recorded 54 double-doubles in his four-year career. Four-year starter who started 108 of 113 games at Marshall.

As a senior, averaged 15.0 points and 10.6 rebounds. Started all 30 games. Finished 2nd in the conference in rebounding, and ranked 12th nationally. Grabbed 113 rebounds off the offensive glass, tops in the league. Led team in scoring four times, with a high of 26 points twice, in consecutive games at Winthrop (Dec. 3) and at Radford (Dec. 6). Season high of 19 rebounds came in a home win against Akron on Feb. 5. Finished the season with 15 double-doubles.

As a junior, averaged 16.6 points and 11.1 rebounds. Started all 27 games. Led the MAC in rebounding and field goal percentage (.578). Ranked third in the nation in rebounding. Registered 20 double-doubles on the season, the second most in the country. Led team in scoring ten times, with a high of 26 against Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne on Dec. 28. Grabbed season-high 15 rebounds to go along with 19 points against West Virginia on Jan. 9. Finished off season with 19 point, 15 rebound performance against Ball State in the MAC Tournament. Was named First Team All-Conference.

As a sophomore, averaged 17.5 points and 8.6 rebounds. Started all 29 games he appeared in. Ranked third in the conference in rebounding and sixth in scoring. Field goal percentage of .567 ranked second in the league. Recorded first double-double of the season with 19 points and a season-best 16 rebounds against Massachusetts on Nov. 29. Went on to register 10 double-double efforts. Scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in MAC Tournament victory over Buffalo on Mar. 1. Was named Honorable Mention All-MAC.

As a freshman, averaged 14.7 points and 8.1 rebounds. Started 22 of 27 games he appeared in. Was the first freshman in school history to lead the team in both points and rebounds. Notched a career-high of 34 points while grabbing 17 rebounds against Buffalo on Feb. 17. Had first double-double of the season with 26 points and 13 rebounds against Central Michigan on Dec. 30. Registered nine double-doubles on the season. Closed season with a 30 point, 17 rebound effort against Kent in the MAC Tournament. Named to MAC All-Freshman Team, and was voted Honorable Mention All-Conference.
