College Highlights: Played one season at Indian Hills
Community College, averaging 15.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.7 blocked shots
as a freshman. Led the conference in blocked shots, ranked second in scoring and
ranked third in rebounding. Appeared in 25 games, briefly leaving the team in
mid-season. Posted 24 points, 15 rebounds, and seven blocked shots in his collegiate
debut vs. Malcolm X. Recorded 26 points, 15 rebounds, and six blocks the following
night vs. Olive Harvey. Earned First Team All-Region XI honors and was also named
an Honorable Mention All-American.
High School Highlights: Finished
prep career at Notre Dame Prep, appearing in one game without scoring. Previously
spent time at the IMG Academy in Florida, Coastal Christian HS in Virginia Beach,
Va., and Ben Franklin HS in his native Rochester, N.Y. At one point, was verbally
committed to St. John's.
