BACKGROUND

Career Highlights: Finished collegiate career as the all-time leading shot-blocker in New Mexico State history with 200 rejections. Also ranks as the fifth all-time leading scorer with 1,651 points and second all-time in steals with 174. Named Sun Belt Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-American as a junior and earned First Team All-Conference honors as a senior.

Senior (2003-04): Averaged team-high 15.4 points (seventh in the Sun Belt), 6.6 rebounds, 2.0 blocked shots, and 1.9 steals. Started all 27 games. Scored in double figures 25 times with seven games of 20 or more points. Posted season-high 31 points, shooting 17-for-19 from the free throw line against Arkansas State. Registered a 21 point, 12 rebound double-double to go with a school-record eight blocked shots against North Texas. Scored 24 points on 8-for-9 shooting from the field, 8-for-8 from the free throw line at Middle Tennessee State. Posted a double-double of 16 points and ten rebounds against New Mexico. Tallied 22 points and seven rebounds in the rematch.

Junior (2002-03): Averaged a team-high 18.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocked shots. Started 22 of 23 games. Recorded three or more blocks in eight games. Scored his 1,000th career point and broke the school's career blocked shots record with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks against Western Kentucky. Registered season-high 29 points against Denver. Tallied 22 points and nine rebounds at New Mexico. Scored 26 points at Arkansas-Little Rock.

Sophomore (2001-02): Averaged 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocked shots. Led Sun Belt and ranked ninth nationally in field goal percentage (.594). Started all 32 games. Scored in double figures 25 times, scoring 20 or more points on eight occasions. Recorded career-high 32 points on 8-for-13 shooting to go with six blocked shots against South Alabama.

Freshman (2000-01): Averaged 11.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.8 blocked shots. Scoring average was the highest for a NMSU freshman since 1977 and blocked shots total of 52 was a freshman record. Led the team in field goal percentage. Started 19 times. Scored in double figures 18 times. Posted two double-doubles. Named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year.

Personal: Enjoys playing golf. Both parents are teachers who graduated from Grambling University.
