BACKGROUND
Pro Career Highlights: Finished the 2004-05 season with the Rome Gladiators in the WBA, averaging 13.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 21 games. Led the team in blocked shots (42) and ranked second in steals (35). Helped lead Rome to the 2005 WBA championship. Started the 2004-05 year with the Kentucky Colonels in the ABA, averaging 10.7 points and 6.1 rebounds in seven games. Appeared in one game with the Huntsville Flight in the NBA Development League in 2003-04, scoring four points. Played with the Mobile Revelers in the D-League in 2001-02 and 2002-03, averaging 5.1 points in 55 career games. Appeared in two games in 2002-03 before being released, scoring five points. Appeared in 53 games in 2001-02, averaging 5.2 points. Ranked third on the team in blocked shots. Played in three games for the Dodge City Legend in the USBL in the summer of 2002, averaging 10 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocked shots. Participated in summer league play with the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers in July of 2002.
College Highlights: Early entry candidate for the 2001 NBA Draft, but was not selected. Played 12 games at Meridian CC before being suspended from the team. According to Meridian head coach George Brooks, Moon was the most talented player he had ever coached. In his one and only season at Meridian, Moon averaged 20.8 points and 8.7 rebounds.
High School: Originally signed out of high school with Mississippi State, but did not qualify academically. In senior year of high school at Coosa Central HS, Moon was an Honorable Mention All-American by the Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook. Earned Second Team Class 4A All-State honors from The Birmingham News.
