BACKGROUND

Pro Career Highlights: Participated in NBA training camp with the Philadelphia 76ers in the fall of 2005. Started the 2004-05 season with Gran Canaria in Spain, averaging 8.1 points and 4.0 rebounds in 15 games. Moved on to Vichy in the French ProA League, averaging 24.2 points and 8.4 rebounds in nine games. Appeared in four games with the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA in 2003-04, scoring a total of eight points. Finished the year in the NBA Development League with the Charleston Lowgators, averaging 16.9 points and 7.2 rebounds. Ranked third in the league in scoring and seventh in rebounding. Also played with the Lowgators in the D-League in 2002-03, averaging 10.3 points and 5.4 rebounds in 50 games. Played with Fargo-Moorhead in the IBA in 2000-01, averaging 12.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in 12 games. Participated in NBA training camp with the Portland Trail Blazers in the fall of 2000.

College Highlights: Earned First Team All-Big Sky honors as a senior. Finished career at Portland State after playing first two seasons at the College of Eastern Utah and routing through the University of San Francisco. Sat out the 1998-99 season at Portland State under NCAA transfer rules.

Senior (1999-00): Led the team in scoring (14.5 ppg), rebounding (7.3 rpg), blocked shots (13), and steals (38). Ranked ninth in the Big Sky in scoring, third in rebounding, and fifth in steals. Started all 22 games that he appeared in. Paced the team in scoring nine times and in rebounding 11 times. Posted three double-doubles. Scored career-high 29 points vs. Oregon. Registered 24 points vs. Weber State. Narrowly missed a triple double with 14 points, a career-high 13 rebounds, and nine assists vs. Cal State Northridge.

Junior (1997-98): At San Francisco, averaged 1.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.0 minutes a contest. Had a season high of seven points. Grabbed a season-high eight rebounds vs. Idaho State.

Junior College: At Eastern Utah, averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists as a sophomore. Recorded the first triple-double in school history with 25 points, ten rebounds, and 14 assists in a game. Earned All-Conference honors. Averaged 11.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists as a freshman.

Personal: Majored social sciences with a minor in black studies. Sister, Mfon, played in the WNBA for three teams.
