BACKGROUND
Played final season of collegiate career at Angelo State, after playing his first two seasons at Los Angeles Valley Junior College and spending one season at Montana State. Did not play college basketball during the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons.

As a senior, averaged 17.1 points and 5.1 rebounds. Started all 27 games. Led team in scoring (ranking eighth in the Lone Star Conference) and rebounding, and ranked second in assists and steals. Paced team in scoring 16 times, including a season-high 29 points against Mary Hardin-Baylor. Scored 20 points and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds against Midwestern State. Tallied 24 points against Eastern New Mexico. Led team with 22 points and eight rebounds in season opener against Rhema College. Was named MVP of the Wells Fargo/Chili’s Tipoff Tournament. Earned Second Team South Division All-Lone Star Conference honors.

As a junior at Montana State, averaged 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.0 minutes a contest. Started one game. Ranked fifth on the team in steals and sixth in free throw shooting.

Spent the 1998-99 season at Montana State as a redshirt.

Was a two-year starter at Los Angeles Valley JC during the 1996-97 and 1997-98 seasons.
