BACKGROUND
Pro Career Highlights: Played in the Czech Republic and the United States during the 2004-05 season. Started the 2004-05 season with Mlekarna Kunin in the Czech Republic NBL, averaging 6.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in eight games. Returned to the States and joined the Charlotte Thunder in the ABA, averaging 19.6 points and 9.6 rebounds in five games. Finished the year in the WBA with the Gulf Coast Bandits, averaging 7.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocked shots in 18 games.
College
Highlights: Finished collegiate career as the fourth all-time leading shot
blocker in Indiana history with 194. Started 60 of 140 career games played. Spent
the 1999-00 season at Indiana as a redshirt.
Senior (2003-04):
Averaged 9.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in 25.6 minutes a contest. Started all 20
games that he appeared in, missing nine games due to a knee injury. Scored in
double figures seven times. Posted season-high 26 points to go with eight rebounds
vs. Minnesota. Blocked a season-high seven shots vs. Michigan. Shot a perfect
6-for-6 from the field on his way to 14 points vs. Ohio State in the first round
of the Big Ten Tournament. Led team with 11 rebounds in the second round loss
to Illinois.
Junior (2002-03): Averaged 6.5 points and 5.5 rebounds
in 22.5 minutes a contest. Led the Big Ten and ranked 19th nationally in blocked
shots (2.6 bpg). Also ranked fourth in the conference in rebounding. Season total
of 79 blocks ranks third on Indiana's all-time single season list. Started 30
of 32 games. Recorded season highs of 19 points and 16 rebounds vs. Massachusetts.
Tallied 11 points and 14 rebounds vs. Purdue. Scored 14 points at Michigan State.
Sophomore (2001-02): Averaged 2.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.1 minutes
a contest. Ranked third in the Big Ten in blocked shots (1.5 bpg). Started ten
times. Posted first career-double with ten points and ten rebounds to go along
with seven blocked shots vs. Miami (FL). Tallied nine points and six rebounds
at Penn State. Tied season high of seven blocks vs. Texas in the Great Alaska
Shootout.
Freshman (2000-01): Averaged 1.8 points and 1.5 rebounds
