High School: Cypress Falls HS, Houston Birthdate: February 7, 1978 (Ann Arbor, Mich.) A four-year starter at Texas. Finished his career ranked on several Texas career lists: tied for second in games (124), sixth in rebounding (702), ninth in blocks (62) and 12th in scoring (1,456). Was born in Michigan and raised in Houston. As a senior, averaged 13.7 points and 6.3 rebounds, both second on the team. Was a First Team NABC All-District 9 pick and a Second Team All-Big 12 Conference selection by media and coaches. Ranked third in assists (63) and blocks (19) and tied for fourth in steals (30). Reached double figures in scoring 25 times and posted five double-digit rebound games. Earned a spot on the 10-man all-tournament team at the Puerto Rico Shootout, averaging 17.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in three games. As a junior, earned consensus First Team All-Big 12 honors. Was a second team NABC All-District 9 selection. Led the team in scoring (16.5 ppg), third in the Big 12. Also ranked third in the conference in field goal percentage (.495).
