BACKGROUND
Pro Career Highlights: Played with the Great Lakes Storm in the CBA in 2004-05, averaging a team-leading 20.9 points and 5.9 rebounds in 28 games. Earned Second Team All-CBA honors. Played with the Columbus Riverdragons in the NBA Development League in 2003-04, averaging 11.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11 games. Career
Highlights: Finished college career as the 14th all-time leading scorer in
school history, with 1349 points. Also ranks second all-time in school history
in three-point shots made and attempted. A two-time Second Team All-SEC selection,
receiving the honor his senior and junior years. Started 88 of the 90 games he
appeared in. Sat out his freshman season at Georgia while working to satisfy NCAA
academic requirements.
Senior (2002-03): As a senior, averaged
16.6 points and 5.0 rebounds. Ranked fifth in the conference in scoring and three-point
field goal percentage, and first in three-point field goals made. Led team in
scoring 13 times. Tossed in 29 points (25 in the second half) and grabbed eight
boards against Tennessee on Jan. 22. Scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds,
and dished out five assists against Florida on Mar. 4. Recorded 23 points and
eight rebounds at California on Dec. 7. Registered 25 points, shooting a perfect
7-for-7 from behind the three-point arc against LSU on Jan. 5. Led team with 20
points and nine rebounds in season opener against Texas on Nov. 15.
Junior (2001-02): As a junior, averaged 16.5 points and 5.4 rebounds. Set single-season school record for three-point field goals made with 93. Scored 20 or more points in 11 games. Recorded season-high 27 points against LSU in the SEC Tournament. Sank six three-pointers on his way to 26 points against Colorado on Dec. 1. Posted double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds against Georgetown on Nov. 19. Grabbed career-high 12 rebounds against Samford on Nov. 26. in Child & Family Development. Was ranked as one of the Top 50 players in
America coming out of high school. Led Marietta to Class 4A state championship
