Has played internationally in Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Israel, Italy, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela, and stateside in the ABA. Has played in various summer leagues with the Seattle Sonics and Toronto Raptors. Spent 2001-02 season with Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in Israel, averaging 11.0 points and 5.5 rebounds. Played with the Chicago Skyliners in the ABA in 2000-01, averaging 11.4 points and 6.8 rebounds. Spent 1999-00 season in Belgium with Spirou Charleroi, averaging 10.7 points and 7.5 rebounds. Started the 1998-99 season with Muller Verona in the Italian A-1 League, before moving on to B. Sardegna Sassari in the Italian A-2 League, where he averaged 12.1 points and 9.7 rebounds. Started pro career in Israel in 1997-98, averaging 17.0 points and 9.4 rebounds for Hapoel Eilat. Drafted by the Seattle Sonics in the 2nd round (#41 pick overall) of the 1997 NBA Draft.
Finished four-year at Georgia Tech as the school’s third all-time leading shot-blocker, behind only former NBA players John Salley and Malcolm Mackey. Started the last 93 games of his career at center for the Yellow Jackets. Scored career-high 36 points against Wake Forest and grabbed career-high 15 rebounds against Louisville in his senior season. Participated in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and the Nike Desert Classic prior to the NBA Draft.
