Played final two seasons of collegiate career at Utah State, after starting at Ventura College in California. Finished career as the 25th all-time leading scorer in Utah State history with 1,051 points, with his scoring average of 16.4 points ranking 14th all-time. Scored in double figures in 56 of 64 career games. A two-time First Team All-Big West Conference selection.
As a senior, averaged 15.7 points and 6.6 rebounds. Started 32 of 33 games. Ranked third in the Big West in rebounding, sixth in scoring, and sixth in field goal percentage. Grabbed career-high 15 rebounds against Idaho State. Named the MVP of the Big West Conference Tournament, after averaging 18.0 points and 6.3 rebounds. Scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the first round NCAA Tournament loss to Kansas.
As a junior, averaged 17.2 points and 6.9 rebounds. Ranked second in the Big West in scoring, sixth in rebounding, seventh in field goal percentage, seventh in free throw percentage, and ninth in blocked shots. Scored in double figures 29 times, including nine games of 20 or more points. Grabbed season-high 13 rebounds at Cal Poly. Named to the Big West Conference All-Tournament Team after averaging 14.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. Earned Big West Conference Player of the Week honors three times.
As a sophomore at Ventura, averaged 27.8 points and 11.4 rebounds. Led team in scoring and rebounding. Earned First Team All-State honors for Southern California Community College teams.
As a freshman, averaged 22.9 points and 12.6 rebounds. Led team in scoring and rebounding.
