BACKGROUND

Pro Career Highlights: Spent the 2004-05 season in three different countries. Started the year with Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek League, averaging 13.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in eight regular season games, and 10.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in nine ULEB Cup games. Moved on to play with BC Ooostende in the Belgian League, appearing in two games and averaging 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. Finished the year with Prokom in the Polish League, averaging 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 18 games.

Career Highlights: Named First Team All-Pac-10 as a senior. Finished fourth on USC career scoring chart (1,606 points), second on the career three-point chart (203), and seventh in free throws made (353) and minutes (3,261). Started 75 of 121 career games. Earned 2004 All-Tournament Team honors at Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, averaging 16.3 points and 4.3 rebounds.

Senior (2003-04): Averaged 19.4 points (third in the Pac-10) and 4.6 rebounds. His 562 points was the ninth-best in a season at USC. Started 27 of 28 games. Scored at least 20 points 14 times. Scored at least 25 points nine times, including a career-high 40 points in an upset win over then No. 7 Arizona in which he made 11-of-19 shots, 7-of-11 three-pointers (tying a career high) and 11-of-12 free throws. Recorded 28 points vs. UCLA. Posted a double-double of 13 points and ten rebounds vs. Washington, and tallied 31 points in the rematch. Scored 25 points vs. Oregon.

Junior (2002-03): Averaged a team-leading 18.7 points (fourth in the Pac-10) and 4.8 rebounds. Started 27 of 30 games. Scored in double figures 27 times and had at least 20 points 14 times. Averaged 20.4 points in Pac-10 play, becoming only the second Trojan to average at least 20 points in conference games since 1992. Registered season-high 35 points, including seven made threes, vs. Washington State. Scored 29 points at Arizona State. Was named a 2003 All-Pac-10 honorable mention selection and earned Pac-10 All-Tournament honors after averaging 22.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in conference tournament.

Sophomore (2001-02): Averaged 9.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 22.5 minutes a contest. Started five times. Posted 14 double-digit scoring efforts. Registered a double-double of 20 points and ten rebounds vs. Rhode Island. Scored 17 points vs. Oregon State. Contributed 20 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament vs. UNC-Wilmington.

Freshman (2000-01): Averaged 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 18.8 minute a contest. Started 16 of 32 games, with most of the starts coming in place of Jeff Trepagnier, who sat out the first half of last season. Posted season-high 24 points vs. Washington State. Tallied 21 points and a season-high nine rebounds vs. Cal State Northridge.

Personal: Brother Tim was a strong safety at both Toledo (1993-94) and Wayne State (1996-98) and is now the director of operations for the USC men's basketball team. Cousin, Demetrius Calip, was a four-year guard at Michigan (1988-91) and a key reserve in the Wolverines' national championship season in 1989.
