BACKGROUND

Spent the summer of 2003 playing with the Adirondack Wildcats in the USBL. Appeared in 14 games, averaging 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds. Played in the NBDL during the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons. Played with the Roanoke Dazzle in 2002-03, averaging 4.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 28 games. Played with the Fayetteville Patriots in 2001-02, averaging 5.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 30 games.

Finished collegiate career at Chicago State after starting career at Palm Beach Community College in Florida and routing through the College of Eastern Utah. Also spent one semester at Iowa State during the 1998-99 season but did not play before transferring to Chicago State. Started 35 of 48 games at Chicago State and posted seven career double-doubles. Participated in the 2001 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and the 2001 Chicago Pre-Draft Camp.

As a senior, averaged 11.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots. Led team in blocks and ranked second in both scoring and rebounding. Scored in double figures 25 times, including a career-high 32 points against Oral Roberts. Also grabbed 11 rebounds and four steals against ORU. Posted 14 points and season-high 12 rebounds against UMKC. Blocked five shots at IUPUI. Tallied 26 points and nine rebounds at Youngstown State. Registered 24 points and seven rebounds at DePaul. Scored 22 points against Valparaiso. Recorded 17 points and eight rebounds in season opener against Detroit.

As a junior, averaged 13.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots. Led team in rebounding and blocks, while ranking second in scoring. Scored in double figures 15 times and posted five double-doubles. Posted season-highs with 23 points and 14 rebounds against Youngstown State.
