BACKGROUND

Has played in a number of leagues and countries since graduating from Western Kentucky in 1994. Played with the Fargo-Moorhead Beez of the CBA in 2001-02, averaging 4.4 points and 4.7 rebounds. Started 2000-01 season in Sweden with M7 Basket, averaging 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds before moving on to the Salina Rattlers of the IBA, where he averaged 11.2 points and 6.6 rebounds. Spent 1999-00 season with the Derby Storm in England, averaging 15.1 points and 6.9 rebounds. Played for Sundsvall in Sweden in 1998-99, averaging 15.8 points and 8.1 rebounds. Played for M7 Basket in Sweden from 1996 to 1998, averaging 15.4 pionts and 8.2 rebounds in 1997-98. Has also played in New Zealand and Finland. Played in the USBL in the past few summers, with St. Joseph (2002), Lakeland (2001), and Florida (1999, 2000).

Played final two seasons of collegiate career at Western Kentucky. Started career at Sullivan Junior College in Louisville, KY. Played in 58 career games, starting 31 times, all in his senior season.

As a senior, averaged 10.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.7 blocked shots. Led the team in rebounding, and ranked third in scoring. Recorded the second-highest single-season blocked shot total with 52. Scored career-high 19 points at Southwestern Louisiana on Feb. 5. Led or shared the team in lead in rebounding in 12 games, with a career-high 15 boards at Jacksonville on Jan. 15. Paced team with 11 rebounds and career-high four assists at Arkansas State on Feb. 19. Was named 2nd Team All-Sun Belt Conference.

As a junior, averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocked shots in 21.5 minutes a game. Recorded three double-doubles. Led team with 15 points and 10 rebounds against Arkansas State on Feb. 20. Registered 15 points and season-high 12 rebounds against New Orleans on Feb. 22. Scored season-high 18 points at Lamar on Feb. 6. Matched that effort with 18 points against Louisville on Feb. 16. Scored eight points in 13 minutes in his WKU debut against Radford on Jan. 2.

Was a two-time All-State and All-Conference performer at Sullivan JC. Averaged 12.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.0 blocked shots as a sophomore, helping lead the team to a 31-6 overall record. Averaged 10.0 points and 7.8 rebounds as a freshman, contributing to a 24-8 overall record. Sullivan JC won back-to-back Kentucky Junior College Athletic Conference championships during his two seasons.
