BACKGROUND

Spent the summer of 2003 playing in the USBL for the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs. Averaged 5.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in 13 games. Started the 2002-03 season in Germany with Ludwigsburg, but left after two games. Played for the Dakota Wizards in the CBA in 2001-02 and 2002-03. In 2002-03, averaged 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in 35 games. In 2001-02, averaged 13.3 points and 9.4 rebounds in 40 games, ranking fifth in the league in rebounding and field goal percentage.

Played briefly for the St. Louis Skyhawks in the USBL in the summer of 2002, averaging 3.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in five games. Spent the 2000-01 season in the CBA with the Gary Steelheads. Played in 24 games, averaging 15.9 points and 9.3 rebounds. Ranked sixth in the league in rebounding. Played with the Fort Wayne Fury in the CBA in 1998-99. Appeared in 53 games, averaging 7.8 points and 6.3 rebounds. Played with Larissa in Greece during the 1997-98 season, averaging 12.9 points and 6.9 rebounds in nine games.

Left Minnesota after his sophomore season to pursue a professional career. Started 63 of 65 games during his two years in college. Was Honorable Mention All-Big Ten both years in school.

As a sophomore, averaged 8.4 points and 7.2 rebounds. Posted three double-doubles, against Nebraska, Long Island and Indiana. Blocked career-high five shots against Stephen F. Austin. Was a key member of Minnesota’s Final Four run in the NCAA Tournament, averaging 7.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in five games. In the Tournament, posted nine points and 10 rebounds against Temple, and 12 points and six rebounds against UCLA.
