Career Highlights: Played for the Westchester Wildfire in the USBL in the
summer of 2005, averaging 13.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 27 games. Appeared in
11 games with the Fayetteville Patriots in the NBA Development League in 2004-05,
averaging 9.5 points and 2.7 rebounds. Selected by the Patriots in the fifth round
(#27 pick overall) of the 2004 D-League Draft.
College Highlights:
Named First Team All-American as a senior by the Division II Bulletin and a Second
Team All-American by Basketball Times. Earned South Region Player of the Year
by Daktronics and was named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year. Holds
the second highest career free throw shooting percentage (82.9 percent) in school
history. Finished collegiate career at Florida Southern College after playing
first two seasons at Vermilion Community College in Ely, Minn. and spending a
redshirt season at Kent State in 2001-02.
Senior (2003-04): Led
team in scoring (20.4 ppg) and ranked second in rebounding (5.9 rpg). Started
all 31 games. Led team in scoring 25 times. Posted career-high 33 points at Nova
Southeastern. Scored 31 points against Florida Tech. Recorded double-doubles of
24 points and ten rebounds in home games against Eckerd and Tampa. Tallied 22
points and nine rebounds against Davis & Elkins. Led team with 27 points while
shooting 5-for-7 from behind the three-point line in the Sunshine State Conference
Tournament against Tampa. Earned SSC Player of the Week honors twice.
Junior
(2002-03): Averaged 12.8 points (ninth in the SSC) and 4.1 rebounds. Led league
in free throw shooting at 89.2 percent, which also ranked 16th nationally. Started
six times. Scored in double figures 24 times, including a season-high 20 points
on three separate occasions. Recorded 17 points against Delta State in the South
Region of the NCAA Tournament.
Sophomore (2000-01): At Vermillion
CC, averaged 22.5 points and 11.4 rebounds. Helped lead team to a 27-8 record
and a region championship. Tallied 28 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists against
Rainy River. Recorded 18 points, 17 rebounds, and six steals against Itasca CC.
Named a NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American. Scored 1,211 points over his two
years at Vermillion, second-best in school history.
Freshman (1999-00):
Averaged 14.6 points and 8.7 rebounds. Team finished with a 25-4 record. Earned
All-Conference and All-State honors.
Personal: Majored in news media/communications
