BACKGROUND

Briefly played for the Westchester Wildfire in the USBL in the summer of 2004. Appeared in two games, making his only shot from the field, grabbing two rebounds, and blocking three shots. Was an early entry candidate for the 2003 NBA Draft, but was not selected.

College Highlights: Played one season at Iowa State after playing the first two seasons of his career at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Junior (2002-03): A veraged 7.7 points and 5.2 rebounds. Appeared in nine games, starting one, before leaving the team for personal reasons. Led team with season-high 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 22 minutes in Iowa State debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Tallied nine points and 10 rebounds against Oklahoma. Shot 5-for-6 from the field in scoring 10 points at Missouri. Led team with season-high 12 rebounds at Oklahoma State.

Sophomore (2000-01): At Indian Hills CC, averaged 11.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.3 blocked shots. Led conference in field goal percentage shooting 73.6 percent from the floor, a single-season school record. Also led conference in blocked shots (77) and finished second in rebounding (8.1). Led team in double-doubles. Set career-high of 30 points against Clinton (IA) CC. Recorded triple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots in rematch against Clinton. Scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds against Northeast Nebraska CC.

Freshman (2000-01): Averaged 5.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 blocked shots. Missed eight games and was hampered much of the season due to a broken jaw. Prior to the injury, scored in double figures in three consecutive contests, including games of 20 and 21 points. Helped Indian Hills to a Region XI title and a fourth place finish in the NJCAA Tournament.
