BACKGROUND
Career
Highlights: Earned First Team All-Mid American Conference honors and was named
conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. Finished collegiate career
tied for 16th on Miami's all-time scoring list with 1,230 career points. Also
ranks fifth all-time in rebounds (806), tenth in assists (328), fifth in steals
(157), fourth in minutes played (3,894), second in games started (117), and tied
for ninth in games played (118). Recorded 15 career double-doubles.
Senior
(2004-05): Averaged 13.4 points and 7.6 rebounds (fifth in the MAC). Scored
20 or more points six times and posted six double-doubles. Scored career-high
27 points on 9-for-13 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds at Toledo. Registered
23 points and a career-high 15 rebounds at Akron. Narrowly missed a triple-double
with 12 points, ten rebounds, and a career-high-tying nine assists at Eastern
Michigan. Posted 16 points and nine rebounds in the season opener vs. Purdue.
Notched 22 points and seven rebounds in the first round of the post-season NIT
vs. TCU.
Junior (2003-04): Averaged 10.3 points and 7.9 rebounds.
Scored in double figures 15 times and grabbed ten or more rebounds ten times.
Posted seven double-doubles. Recorded season-high points and pulled down 12 rebounds
vs. Akron. Registered 14 points and 12 rebounds vs. Xavier. Tallied ten points,
nine rebounds, and a season-high eight assists at Cincinnati. Scored 14 points
and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds vs. Ball State in the first round of the
MAC Tournament.
Sophomore (2002-03): Averaged 10.0 points and 6.2
rebounds. Scored in double figures 12 times and paced the team in scoring on six
occasions. Registered season highs of 22 points and six steals at Ohio University.
Posted a double-double of 16 points and a season-high 11 rebounds at Marshall.
Tallied 17 points and nine rebounds at Toledo. Scored 13 points and grabbed eight
rebounds vs. Cincinnati.
Freshman (2001-02): Averaged 8.0 points
and 5.7 rebounds. Led the team in rebounding in 11 games. Scored in double figures
12 times, with a season-high 19 points on 9-for-11 shooting vs. Toledo. Recorded
18 points, six rebounds, and five assists vs. Boston College. Grabbed a season-high
14 rebounds at Southern Cal. Registered a ten-point, ten-rebound double-double
at Kent State. Scored 18 points and dished out a career-high nine assists vs.
