BACKGROUND
Played in the USBL in the summer of 2004 with the Kansas Cagerz, averaging 9.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in 25 games. Played in the ABA in 2003-04 with the Las Vegas Rattlers.
College Highlights: Finished collegiate career at San Jose State after
spending first two seasons at Iowa State. Led team in scoring and assists both
seasons played at SJSU, starting 47 of 50 total games played. Earned WAC All-Defensive
Team honors as a senior and earned All-Newcomer Team honors as a junior.
Senior (2002-03): Averaged 13.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
Scored career-high 28 points at UTEP. Led team with 20 points and seven rebounds
in the rematch. Tallied 23 points, six rebounds, and four assists against Pacific.
Posted 23 points against Hawaii. Dished out career-high nine assists against
Menlo College. Paced squad with 19 points and six rebounds in first round WAC
Tournament loss to UTEP.
Junior (2001-02): Averaged 16.0 points and 4.3 assists after becoming
eligible to play in mid-December. Posted a triple-double in SJSU debut with
18 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists against the Notre Dame de Namur University.
Set career-high in scoring with 34 points against Nevada. Tallied 25 points,
six rebounds, and five assists in the rematch.
Sophomore (2000-01): At Iowa State, averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds
before leaving the team after seven games. Scored season-high 12 points in season
opener against Morningside.
Freshman (1999-00): Averaged 3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12.8 minutes
a contest. Posted season-high 12 points against Colorado. Led team with seven
rebounds in the NCAA Tournament against Michigan State.
Personal: Majored in criminal justice administration. Father, Hendley,
lettered at Nebraska in football. First cousins with Jaleel White, who played
Steve Erkel on the TV show "Family Matters". Originally signed with
Utah State out of high school.
