BACKGROUND
Pro Career Highlights: Played with the Columbus Riverdragons in the NBA Development League in 2004-05, averaging 8.0 points in eight games. Started the season with the Long Beach Jam in the ABA, averaging 13.4 points in 11 games. Played with the Tijuana Diablos in the ABA in 2003-04 (statistics unavailable). Selected by the Greenville Groove in the 13th round (#104 pick overall) of the 2002 D-League Draft. Earned one of four spots in rookie/free-agent camp with the Denver Nuggets in the summer of 2002 after being selected from an open try-out. Senior (2000-01): Averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.1 steals. Led team in assists (108), steals (62), and three-point shooting (.475). Steal total was second-best single-season mark in school history. Started 25 of 27 games. Scored career-high of 17 points on three occasions, most recently at South Alabama. Connected on 4-for-5 from three-point range on his way to 17 points while dishing out seven assists at Florida International. Tallied 17 points, eight assists, and seven steals vs. Limpscomb. Junior (1999-00): Averaged 2.9 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 16.1 minutes a contest. Finished third on the team in steals with 30. Started eight of the last nine games of the season. Led team in scoring and rebounding with 12 points and eight boards to go along with six assists in a victory over Denver in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. Junior College (1997-99): Was a two-year starter at
Copiah-Lincoln. As a sophomore in 1998-99, averaged 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds,
5.1 assists, and 2.8 steals. Shot 57% from behind the three-point arc in the first
12 games of the season. Helped the Wolves finish with a 25-5 overall record, win
the state tournament, and reach the Regional semi-finals. Was chosen to the Region
23 All-Tournament Team.
