BACKGROUND

Played with the Brooklyn Kings of the USBL in 2002, averaging 6.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in six games. Played in the NBDL with the Fayetteville Patriots in 2001-02, averaging 1.6 points and 3.0 rebounds in 23 games. Briefly played in the CBA with the Gary Steelheads in 2000-01, appearing in two games. Has also played internationally in France and Macedonia. Played with the Westchester Kings of the USBL in 1997.

Played final two seasons of collegiate career at Seton Hall, after first two seasons at Atlanta Metropolitan College. Had career averages of 7.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.4 blocked shots. Started all 56 games in his career.

As a senior, averaged 6.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.8 blocked shots. Was the team’s starting center. Led team in rebounding and blocked shots. Set seventh highest single-season blocked shot total with 50. Paced team in rebounding 10 times. Grabbed career-high 14 rebounds against West Virginia on Feb. 22. Pulled down 11 boards against Rhode Island on Dec. 30. Tallied 10 points against Providence on Jan. 11.

As a junior, averaged 7.9 points and 4.8 rebounds. Led team in blocked shots and field goal percentage, ranking second in rebounding. Over half his rebounds (71 of 135) were off the offensive glass. Was the team’s high man in rebounding four times. Scored 15 points at West Virginia in the first round of the Big East Tournament on Mar. 6. Tallied 12 points against Connecticut in the next game on Mar. 7.

As a sophomore at Atlanta Metropolitan College, averaged 10.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.0 blocked shots. Earned All-Georgia Junior College Athletic Association honors. Was regarded one of the top junior college big men in the country.

As a freshman, averaged five points and seven rebounds. Helped school to a 28-8 overall record and an appearance in the NJCAA Tournament.
