BACKGROUND

Has played in the CBA, France, Greece, and Italy. Spent 2001-02 season with Aurora Basket Jesi in the Italian A-2 League, averaging 16.9 points and 6.7 rebounds in 35 games. Played with Iraklio in Greece at the start of 2000-01, averaging 18.0 points and 8.8 rebounds in 12 games before moving onto Besancon in France, where he averaged 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 13 games. Spent two years with the Quad City Thunder in the CBA, averaging 14.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 1999-2000, and averaging 10.6 points and 6.5 rebounds in 1998-99. Was named CBA Rookie of the Year in 1999. Made the Utah Jazz opening day roster in 1999-00, but was released while on injured reserve. Also participated in training camp with the Atlanta Hawks in 1998-99.

Played final three seasons of collegiate career at Gonzaga, after playing his first season at Solano Junior College in Suisun, CA. Played in 69 career games, starting 60. Had eight career double-doubles.

As a senior, averaged 19.9 points and 7.3 rebounds. Started all 33 games. Led team in both categories; scoring average ranked first and rebounding average ranked second in the WCC. Led team in scoring 17 times and in rebounding 18 times. Scored over 20 points on 12 occasions, including a career-high 32 points twice, against Eastern Washington and against Loyola Marymount. Scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the second round of the NIT against Wyoming. Registered 19 points and nine rebounds in first round NIT victory over Wyoming. Averaged 20.3 points and 11.7 rebounds in the WCC Tournament on his way to All-Tournament honors. Made First Team All-WCC and was named WCC Player of the Year.

As a junior, averaged 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds. Started all 27 games. Finished sixth in the conference in field goal percentage. Scored in double figures in 16 of the last 21 games. Recorded season-high 28 points against San Diego. Had 17 points and 10 rebounds against St. Mary’s (CA). Earned First Team All-WCC honors.

As a sophomore, averaged 1.1 points and 1.2 rebounds. Appeared in nine games before being lost for the season in early January due to a fractured ankle and the resulting surgery.

As a freshman at Solano JC, averaged 12.7 points and 6.6 rebounds. Was named First Team All-Bay Valley Conference and helped lead team to the second round of the state playoffs.
