BACKGROUND

Pro Career Highlights: Participated in NBA training camp with the Sacramento Kings in the fall of 2005. Played in the WBA with the Arkansas Angels in 2004-05, averaging 6.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.8 blocked shots in five games.

College Highlights: Finished collegiate career as Houston's fifth all-time leading shot blocker with 160 rejections in only two seasons, trailing Hakeem Olajuwon, Dwight Davis, Greg Anderson, and Bo Outlaw. Started 41 of 55 career games. Started collegiate career at Lee Junior College in Baytown, Texas before transferring to Houston.

Senior (2003-04): Led Conference USA and ranked second nationally in blocked shots (4.1 bpg) while averaging 7.5 points and 7.4 rebounds. Led or shared the team lead in blocked shots in every game of the season and set a league record for blocked shots in a season. Started all 27 contests played. Posted five double-doubles. Scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds vs. Lamar. Recorded a career-high eight blocked shots in three straight games, vs. Washington, Chicago State, and Texas A&M. Added 14 points and ten rebounds in the Washington game. Pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds vs. Southern Mississippi. Recorded a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double at St. Louis in the season finale.

Junior (2002-03):
Averaged 2.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.8 blocked shots (second in C-USA) in 15.6 minutes a contest. Started 14 of 28 games. Scored season-high nine points vs. San Diego State. Led team in rebounding twice, with a season-high seven rebounds at TCU and Southwest Texas State. Added a season-high six blocked shots vs. Southwest Texas State.

Sophomore (2001-02): At Lee JC, averaged 6.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.8 blocked shots. Set a school single season record with 154 blocks. Recorded a triple-double with a career-high 20 points, 13 rebounds, and ten blocks vs. Pensacola JC. Registered career highs of 14 rebounds and 11 blocked shots vs. Panola JC in the first round of the Region XIV Conference Tournament. Blocked ten shots vs. Northern Oklahoma JC.

Freshman (2000-01): Averaged 1.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in a limited role.
