BACKGROUND
Pro Career Highlights: Finished the 2004-05 season in Korea, playing for Anyang KT&G Stars (statistics unavailable). Started the year with the Nashville Rhythm in the ABA, averaging 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds in ten games. Appeared in nine games for Orleans in the French ProB League in 2003-04, averaging 18.4 points and 12.1 rebounds in nine games.
College Highlights: Named Atlantic
Sun Conference Player of the Year as a senior. Also earned Honorable Mention All-American
honors from the Associated Press. Earned First Team All-Atlantic Sun honors his
junior and senior seasons. Finished collegiate career at Belmont after playing
freshman season at Lipscomb University. Sat out the 1999-00 season at Belmont
under NCAA transfer rules.
Senior (2002-03): Led the Atlantic Sun
Conference and ranked third nationally in rebounding (12.1 rpg). Was the only
player in the conference to rank among the league's top ten in scoring (16.1 ppg),
rebounding, and assists (3.8 apg). Started all 29 games. Posted a league-high
17 double-doubles. Registered season highs of 27 points and 19 rebounds vs. Gardner-Webb.
Posted a double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds at Campbell. Shot 14-for-15
from the free throw line on his way to 26 points at Jacksonville State. Scored
11 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out nine assists at Georgia. Recorded
21 points and 17 rebounds vs. Long Island.
Junior (2001-02): Led
the team in scoring (18.8 ppg) and rebounding (10.3 rpg). Rebounding average would
have led the league and ranked 11th nationally had he played the minimum number
of games required. Started all 20 games that he appeared in, missing eight games
due to a stress fracture in his foot. Posted 11 double-doubles. Scored 20 or more
points 13 times, with a season-high 30 points vs. Stetson. Registered 20 points
and a career-high 21 rebounds at Central Florida. Narrowly missed a triple-double
with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists vs. Valparaiso.
Sophomore
(2000-01): Averaged 14.2 points and a team-high 9.4 rebounds (ranked 24th
nationally). Started 21 of 28 games. Posted 12 double-doubles. Led the team in
scoring eight times and surpassed the 20-point mark five times. Registered season-high
26 points twice, vs. Cumberland College and vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Scored 22 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds vs. Texas-Pan American.
Freshman (1998-99): At Lipscomb, averaged 12.0 points and 6.0 rebounds.
Named to the TranSouth Conference All-Newcomer Team and finished as the runner-up
for Freshman of the Year.
