BACKGROUND
Played with the Columbus Riverdragons in the NBDL in 2003-04, averaging 11.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 17 games. Played for both the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets in the NBA in 2002-03, averaging 1.6 points and 0.4 rebounds in 19 total games.
College Highlights: An early entry candidate for the 2002 NBA Draft.
Finished collegiate career at Auburn after playing freshman year at North Carolina
State. Sat out the 1999-2000 season at Auburn under NCAA transfer rules. Earned
Third Team All-SEC honors as a sophomore. Scored a total of 1,136 points as
a collegian.
Junior (2001-02): Averaged 10.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
Started 15 of 28 games. Scored in double figures 15 times. Registered season-high
24 points including five threes against Southern Miss. Tallied 20 points and
six rebounds against LSU. Scored 16 points against Arkansas. Registered 16 points
and tied season-high with seven rebounds at Alabama.
Sophomore (2000-01): Averaged 15.5 points (eighth in the SEC), 4.3 rebounds,
and 2.4 assists. Started 22 of 31 games. Ranked fifth in the SEC in three-point
field goals made (72) and ninth in free throw percentage (.713). Scored 20 or
more points six times, with a career-high of 32 points against Detroit. Posted
27 points and seven rebounds against Kentucky. Tallied 25 points and eight rebounds
against Tennessee in the SEC Tournament.
Freshman (1998-99): At North Carolina State, averaged 11.6 points while
becoming the first freshman in school history to lead the team in scoring. Scored
in double figures 19 times with three games of 20 points or more. Recorded season-high
26 points at Duke. Named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
