Averaged 11.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 25 games. Selected by the Columbus Riverdragons in the sixth round (#46 pick overall) of the 2002 NBDL Draft. Participated in the Los Angeles summer league in 2002 with the Memphis Grizzlies. Played in the 2002 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. Finished as Virginia's 33rd all-time leading scorer with 1104 points. Ranks eighth on the school's all-time steals list with 157 thefts. Played in 108 games, starting 88 times. Was respected around the ACC for his tenacious defensive play and often drew the opposing team’s top perimeter scorer as his defensive assignment. Member of Team USA that earned a silver medal at the 1999 FIBA Men’s Junior World Championship in Portugal. As a senior, averaged 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds. Missed 10 games due to a right foot injury, started 16 of the 19 games he appeared in. Scored season-high 21 points in upset win over Duke on Feb. 28. Scored 19 points in 26 minutes against East Tennessee State on Nov. 18. Opened season with 18 points on 8-for-12 shooting against Wagner on Nov. 16. Led team with 12 rebounds at Clemson on Jan. 8.
